Brothers arrested after beating their neighbour to death over motorcycle.
Three brothers have been arrested by the police in Kebbi State for allegedly beating their neighbour, Abbas Abubakar, to death after accusing him of stealing their motorcycle in Birnin Kebbi town.
Reports has it that the suspects, identified as Abubakar Ahmed, Ubaidu Ahmed and Halilu Ahmed, took Abubakar their neighbour to their house, tied him with a rape and beat him to coma.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Nafiu Abubakar, in a statement on Friday, September 23, said the deceased was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.
He said the unfortunate incident occurred on Monday, September 19, 2022.
According to him, on the said day, the suspects conspired and went to the residence of one Sanusi Abubakar and demanded him to call his junior brother named Abbas Abubakar A.K.A Zabi for them, because they were suspecting him to have stolen their motorcycle, a Haojue Roba-Roba.
“When Abbas Abubakar was called, the suspects took him to their house, tied him with a rope and beat him up to a state of coma. On the same date at about 14:30hrs, the suspects took the said Abbas Abubakar in their motor vehicle to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Birnin Kebbi. Hence, they were instantly arrested and the victim was rushed to Sir Yahaya memorial hospital, Birnin Kebbi, where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor,” the statement read.
