Udinese doubled their goal some minutes into the second half as Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio allowed Lazar Samardzic’s long-range strike to bounce into the net.
Roberto Pereyra curled a fine shot past Patricio to put his side Udinese 3 goals past their opponents.
Sandi Lovric added salt to Roma’s wounds in the 82nd minute by finishing off a counter-attack, sending Udinese into fourth place in the Serie A league table.
